Emerge
This vantage point of San Francisco is one of my favorite places in the world. On this early morning, I had convinced a couple of friends to get up (very) early to take photos. It was completely socked in with fog. But as we drove to the top of the hill, we emerged above the clouds. It was pretty awe inspiring to watch the sun come up and over the fog while the Golden Gate Bridge sprouted from among the glow, like a new plant waking up in the spring. The memories and the experience make this one of my favorite images.
